Tom P performs at "Perfect Attendance Stage" at The A3C Festival.

The A3C is the largest hip hop festival in the South East. This marks our second year being part of the festival and we moved up a bit in rank. This year we rocked Fadia Kader's stage (now works for Complex Magazine) some other cats who rocked the same stage that weekend were Rittz and Mac Miller. Crazy, thinking back… It was a good night.

“Damn! Tom, homie, slow down son. You're killin 'em! Love the comedic intro, the rapid-fire bars, the original boardwork, and the Booth-flavored free. Great job. line ”

I dropped an exclusive track for DJbooth.net "freestyle series" entitled "Raw." The song got a lot of love on the site, which is saying a lot considering most of the reviewers are very critical when it comes to hip hop. Brian Z is the owner and rep for the site and he personally asked me to do the track. The quote above is from him. Also check out the critics response to it below, its incredibly positive! Check out the song on DJ Booth here >

The picture is me recording the song with producer Kamal the Element at his home studio in 2010.

"Greatest...intro...int DJBooth Freestyle history. And from there it only gets better.

The man's simply got one of the most precise flows in the game right now - he's surgical with the syllables. Goddamn. Just goddamn. That's all."

"So many rappers say that they are "Raw," but honestly, how many can live up to that title. Tom P sure as @*#$! can."

"I can't help but laugh when he REALLY starts spittin, not because it's bad (whatsoever), but because you know that rapid -fire sh*t is comin. And when it hits, it's absolutely incredible. Load up another round Tom."

"I concur, Z! Tom comes with some 1000 rounds per minute bars and delivery. I would nickname him "Tommy Gun" but I don't want anyone to confuse him with dude from Young Black Teenagers, LOL! Kudos!!"
